Tim Tebow Rips Former Teammate Brady Quinn for Comments About Notre DameWhen people talk about Tim Tebow, they often struggle to find ways to describe his style as a quarterback.

His throwing motion is different, he scrambles a lot, and others say he has accuracy problems. One thing people always seem to agree on, though, is that the man is a winner.

Tebow has proved this yet again, although this time it had nothing to do with throwing footballs. Instead, Tebow won with his words, mocking former Denver Broncos teammate Brady Quinn.

Tebow recently made fun of Quinn's attitude about his alma mater, Notre Dame, and he did it without even needing to say Quinn's name.

"I had a teammate at Denver who played the same position as me, and he went to the University of Notre Dame," Tebow said, according to SportsGrid. "He would brag about his university, how great it was. Most of us in the locker room were like, 'C'mon, we all had opportunities. We chose not to go there.' … But he talked so much about his university that it became easy. I'd say, 'Your whole team had one guy who ran under a 5.0 40 [yard dash]. Our kicker ran under a 5.0."

Tebow won the Heisman Trophy at the University of Florida in 2007 and national championships in 2007 and 2009.

Although his collegiate accomplishments greatly outweigh Quinn's, Tebow is now facing a much tougher challenge — trying to win the starting quarterback position for the New York Jets over Mark Sanchez.
