Tuukka Rask agreed to a relatively interesting one-year deal to remain with the Bruins on Thursday, and there didn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to the deal.
It turns out that the 25-year-old netminder is looking to stay with the B’s for years to come, but he feels that he still has plenty to prove before the team should really settle on him as the No. 1 man heading into the future.
NESN’s Naoko Funayama chatted with Peter Chiarelli about the deal and Rask’s intentions with the contract during Friday’s NESN Daily.
