Anthony Davis and John Calipari worked together to bring a championship to the University of Kentucky earlier this year, but on Thursday night they squared off against one another.
Davis was playing for the USA national team as an emergency addition while Calipari was coaching the Dominican Republic in Thursday’s matchup.
After Davis was fouled while nailing a three-pointer — to extend USA’s lead over the Dominican to 53 points en route to a 113-59 win — he had something to say to his former coach.
