What seems to be the inevitable loss of Robin van Persie has sent one Arsenal fan off the deep end.
The Arsenal fan launched a YouTube tirade at the club captain after he announced that he would not extend his contract with the Gunners.
The user discusses van Persie's decision at great length, calmly and logically pointing out holes in the striker's reasoning. But what starts (the first 20 seconds or so) as rose-tinted optimism — "We signed [Lukas] Podolski. He's a good player!" — ends in a fury of wild gestures, frothing and a final separation.
The angry fan is playing the "Ultimate Team" card-trading game on FIFA 12, and decides he's had enough of the Dutch master. He deletes van Persie from his deck of cards (which may have been already been short of a full deck).
The video is simply hillarious. That is, unless you are an Arsenal fan. Then it's just … well, it's still pretty funny.
Watch the irate Gooner's reaction to the van Persie news in the video below.
