What is it with batted balls finding people in the Wrigley Field stands this week?
Just a day after a vendor was pelted with a Jose Reyes home run ball, a fan was the “victim” of what was likely a far less painful encounter with some cowhide.
A fan sitting in the third base box seats was late to get her hands up on a bouncing foul ball that hopped over the dugout and into the stands. The ball bounced up and at the young woman, which is when the real hilarity ensued.
The ball hit her in the forehead before falling into her beer cup.
