If you hoped, thought or prayed you wouldn’t ever hear Miley Cyrus‘ Party in the U.S.A. ever again, click away now.
The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team released a video rendition of the song that took America by storm a year or two ago, and it did so just in time for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
These American girls just wanted to have fun, and it looked like they were doing just that in and around their temporary home in London, England. For three and a half minutes, they lip-synced and danced to the popular tune. The cinematography wasn’t so bad either.
From the looks of the video, the entire team took part in the making of the video, including famous faces Hope Solo and Abby Wambach.
Unfortunately, not even Megan Rapinoe‘s general awesomeness couldn’t save this performance from the wrath of haters (like yours truly). Some things are just not for everyone, and even the “Girls of Summer” can’t make us all like this song … sorry.
Watch the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team do a cover of Party in the USA in the video below.
