Jason Varitek and Tim Wakefield were the longest-tenured members of the Red Sox last season and it just so happened that last year was the final campaign for both Boston legends.

Varitek helped show newcomers what it meant to play in Boston, and David Ortiz, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz shared their thoughts on what the Captain meant to them as a teammate and friend. They also touched on what he meant to the City of Boston and the fans.
