Jon Lester‘s struggle with and recovery from non-Hodgkin lymphoma is well-documented, and serves as an inspiration to many in their own fights against cancer.
That’s why it’s not surprising that back in May, Lester helped to launch an initiative geared toward combating children’s cancer called NVRQT, or “Never Quit.”
Lester recently hosted some pediatric cancer patients at a Red Sox home game, and spoke with NESN’s Jenny Dell about his involvement with the foundation.
