A Sports Illustrated cover girl and an American League MVP, what could make a better couple?

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander have been spending a lot of time together lately, so the rumors are flying. Are they dating?

Recently, Upton took in an Aerosmith concert with Verlander and a couple of friends. Then she was up in the Detroit Tigers suite during a game with a Tigers hat on and drink in hand.

Thanks to the media-friendly world that we live in, pictures have been popping up of Upton and Verlander getting awfully close at a nightclub after the concert. The friendship might have started when the supermodel appeared in an MLB 2k13 commercial with Verlander last year.

Besides being known as a Sports Illustrated cover girl, Upton, who is still only 20 years old, has also made the cat daddy dance a viral sensation. Upton looks like she is a real MLB fan, as she watched MLB’s fan cave try to re-enact her popular moves.

Before being linked to Verlander, Upton was also linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. But it looks like things soured between the two and the polarizing Upton has moved on to the best pitcher in baseball instead.
