The Celtics still have a decision to make on the half-dozen in-house free agents they have remaining, but they officially locked up three of their own on Saturday, announcing the signings of Kevin Garnett, Brandon Bass and Chris Wilcox as Jason Terry and Jeff Green looked on at the press conference — even though that duo doesn't officially have contracts yet.
Mickael Pietrus, who played a big role in the Celtics' playoff run, remains the biggest name as yet unsigned, but by locking up the trio of Garnett, Bass and Wilcox — and knowing that Green and Terry will likely soon be joining them — the Boston roster is already well on its way to taking shape for the fall.
