Manchester United Agrees to Three-Year Licensing Deal for Action Figures of PlayersManchester United's stock flotation may not be going very well, but at least their fans can have action figures of their favorite players.

The Premier League giant has agreed to a three-year deal with UK-based Pattni Imaginations to continue producing authentic action figures of its players, according to Sports Business Daily.

"Having Manchester United on board for a further three years is a massive boost as we move towards the release of a series two, as now we have confirmed deals in place with five of the world's biggest football clubs and the England team," said managing director Mayur Pattni.

United was actually the first club to secure a licensing deal with Pattni Imaginations for the original "Match-Stars" series. Other top English clubs soon followed suit, and now FC Barcelona wants to get in on the action for the second edition.

The second line in the "Match-Stars" series is due to launch this coming October as the manufacturer has made a habit of keeping all action figures up-to-date regarding player transfers.
