Before Wednesday’s game between the Yankees and Mariners, shortstop Derek Jeter and hockey legend Wayne Gretzky were spotted shaking hands at Safeco Field.

It was the reunion of two New York City sports icons. While Gretzky didn’t shine as much with the Rangers as he did with the Oilers or Kings, he still carries a lot of clout in hockey just like Jeter in baseball.
