Michelle Obama made America proud on Friday. The first lady displayed soccer skills that rival those of David Beckham himself.
Obama was demonstrating a shooting drill and scored a goal against hapless goalkeeper SpongeBob SquarePants from close range.
All Beckham could do was watch with envy and hope to match her feat. He did just that while wearing a suit and wingtips.
Obama was in London, England taking part in a "Let's Move for London" event aimed at promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. She also played a little tennis and participated in a tug-of-war with some lucky kids.
Obama also plans to attend the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games while in Great Britain. It is unknown if she will stick around as a reserve striker for the U.S. Women's National Soccer team.
Watch Obama and Beckham score on SpongeBob SquarePants in the video below.
