The NHL's collective bargaining agreement is set to expire on September 15, leaving hockey fans on the edge of their seats hoping for a 2012-13 season to be played.
The NHL Players Association is hard at work on negotiations with Gary Bettman and the NHL owners on hammering out a plan that works for both sides. The two parties started negotiations this week, and all reports are that the discussions have been healthy. They will continue to meet in Toronto in the coming days.
