Just a year ago the Bruins were touting the Stanley Cup, the culmination of an incredible run through the playoffs.
A bit removed from that success, the Bruins want to keep that same core in tact and believe that it will continue to have success moving forward. At least that's the official story from general manager Peter Chiarelli, who sees players like Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron and feels that the Bruins roster doesn't necessarily need a whole lot of tweaking this offseason to continue to be an elite team in the Eastern conference.
