Looks like the Canadiens are running out of ideas for things to do this summer. Guess that’s what happens when you have all that extra time after missing the playoffs.

But Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban found an interesting way to spend one day, as he joined TSN’s Cabral “Cabbie” Richards for an excursion to the Toronto Zoo, where the pair became zookeepers for a day.

Check out the video to see Subban and Richards feed, groom and clean up after llamas, tigers and penguins, among other creatures. Bruins fans may be disappointed that Subban’s prediction that “We’re gonna get kicked for sure” by the camels doesn’t come true, but it’s still entertaining.

And Boston fans may be willing to dial back the animosity for Subban a little bit these days anyway now that his brother Malcolm is a member of the Bruins organization after being drafted in the first round last month. OK, even that probably won’t help P.K. when the Habs next visit the Garden, but he seems like a decent enough guy off the ice.
