Ray Allen, Johnny Damon in Same Boat for Fans After Allen’s Defection from Celtics to Miami Heat

If Ray Allen were a baseball player, he'd be most like … Johnny Damon?

That's what Boston fans were saying Friday after the news broke that Allen was giving up a return to the Celtics (and more money) to play with the Miami Heat next year.

Damon's name immediately filled Twitter, where Boston fans quickly drew a comparison between Boston's World Series hero who defected to the Yankees and the latest traitorous villain, who signed with the newly crowned NBA champion Heat.

Does that mean Ray should be called Benedict Allen?

Check out a few of the angry tweets below.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
