Report: Dwight Howard Trade to Nets in Jeopardy After Cavaliers Withdraw From MegadealThe Nets and Magic appeared to be making headway on a Dwight Howard trade, but the Cavaliers may have washed away any progress made.

The Cavs are no longer willing to be third-team facilitators for a deal that would send Howard to Brooklyn, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. This new development reportedly severely jeopardizes the Nets' ability to acquire the six-time All-Star.

The Magic are reportedly continuing their negotiations with both the Rockets and the Lakers, although ESPN's Ric Bucher reported on SportsCenter Tuesday that talks with the Lakers appear to be "dead."

According to Wojnarowski, several league executives have said that they believe the Cavaliers became sensitive to the criticism that they were contributing to the construction of another big-market super power.

Brooklyn has reportedly left Orlando with several direct deal scenarios, but a two-team trade could prove to be more difficult.
