Gerald Green is known more for his acrobatic dunks than his actual on-court play, but the high-flying former Slam Dunk champion finally showed off some of his talent with the Nets last season.
As a result, it looks like Green is in line to earn himself a deal with the Pacers. Indiana is expected to offer Green a three-year, $10 million contract, according to the Indianapolis Star's Mike Wells.
Green, who won the NBA Slam Dunk competition in 2007, was drafted by the Celtics 18th overall in 2005. He was then traded to the Timberwolves as part of the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston, and he's bounced around ever since.
Green averaged 12.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game over 31 contests with the Nets last season after spending time in the NBDL.
