Report: Rangers 'Actively Pursuing' Josh Johnson, Blue Jays Also Showing InterestThe Miami Marlins have been busy, hosting a little bit of a fire sale in recent days. If they ultimately decide to part ways with Josh Johnson, there likely won't be any shortage of suitors.

A couple of reports have surfaced linking both the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays to the Marlins ace.

The Rangers are "actively pursuing" Johnson, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale. They're reportedly willing to part ways with third base prospect Mike Olt as part of a deal, which could be something that piques the Marlins' interest now that they've moved Hanley Ramirez.

That report comes on the heels of a report from FOX Sports' Jon Morosi on Tuesday afternoon that stated the Blue Jays were interested in both Johnson and Ramirez. Obviously, Ramirez won't be heading north now that he's been dealt to the Dodgers, but perhaps Johnson is still an option for the Jays, who remain in "buy mode," according to Morosi.

The Rangers and Blue Jays probably aren't the only two teams in pursuit of Johnson, either. Morosi reports that the Yankees, Giants, Indians, Diamondbacks and Cardinals all had scouts at the Marlins game during Johnson's last start. It's reportedly unclear whether those teams were there to see Johnson or someone else.

Johnson is 6-7 with a 4.14 ERA, but he's a two-time All-Star who has shown excellent stuff in previous seasons.
