Shawn Thornton is taking the fight to the golf course.

The Bruins forward is hosting his third annual “Putts and Punches for Parkinson’s” golf tournament on Monday, August 6, at the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, Mass.

The Boston Bruins Foundation is giving fans an opportunity to join the B’s brawler by raffling off a spot to play alongside Thornton and his Black and Gold gang. In addition to enjoying 18 holes of golf, the winner and their guest will also attend the post tournament dinner.

All of the proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and the American Parkinson Disease Association.

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased online at  www.bruinsraffles.org for $5 per ticket, with the net proceeds benefiting the Boston Bruins Foundation. The raffle is open now and continues through Thursday, August 2, at 5 p.m. ET.
