Everyone loves a souvenir.
So it should come as no surprise that Spike Lee reacted with joy after he grabbed Mark Teixeira's bat after the slugger let it fly in a game against the Angels at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.
Lee, who is famous not only for his films but also for his love of New York sports, was sitting along the first base line when Teixeira lost control of his bat in the first inning. After jumping out of his seat to avoid the bat, Lee was the first to claim it once it landed, and his excitement was obvious as he modeled a home run swing for the cameras.
