Wally the Green Monster has been stolen from Fenway Park.
Boston.com reported via Twitter just after 3 p.m. on Friday that the mascot had been stolen and officers were searching the area.
UPDATE: Wally has been found, according to both the Boston Police Department and the Red Sox.
Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe tweeted that the team has an additional Wally costume.
BREAKING NEWS: Wally the Green Monster has been stolen from Fenway. Officers are searching for the mascot now. Details to come.
