Wes Welker may be running ads soon saying that his hair restoration treatment with Dr. Robert Leonard was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Just don’t expect Dustin Pedroia to jump on board.
Patriots wide receiver Welker, who had hair follicles moved around his head by Leonard earlier this month, has at least a couple of things in common with the Red Sox second baseman. Both are known for their gutsy work ethic, and both have thinning hair.
But Pedroia, who has admitted his baldness before, said he’s not interested in changing the situation.
“I’m plenty good looking,” Pedroia said, according to the Boston Globe. “And I have a hot wife.”
It’s not like Welker is in a different situation, though — he married girlfriend Anna Burns on June 24.
Time to defend her honor (and your hair situation), Wes?
