Adam Dunn Crushes Monster 469-Foot Home Run Off of His Own Face on Scoreboard (Video)Adam Dunn‘s resurgent season continued Monday night in a gargantuan way.

The Chicago White Sox slugger’s most important home run in what would end up being a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays was his game-tying shot in the ninth inning. The homer that everyone should be talking about, though, came earlier in the game.

Dunn clobbered a round-tripper in the fourth inning that went an estimated 469 feet at Rogers Centre in Toronto. And the only thing that stopped the ball from traveling a country mile was, in fact, Dunn’s face. The ball ended up crashing into the video board in right-center field, effectively hitting Dunn square in the mug.

Dunn, who hit .159 with 11 home runs last season, now has 33 home runs on the year. He also collected his 1,000th career RBI on Monday night, and the two homers give 398 for his career.
