Like many younger cancer patients, Black Hawk pilot Ben Groen was taken aback when he was diagnosed with the disease. But Groen’s three young children have helped him navigate the ups and downs of his treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Insititute.
Groen said that he wouldn’t be alive without the treatment he’s received and that he and his family appreciate all the support they’ve received, which includes donations from the Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon that have gone towards cancer research.
