Every professional baseball player has a specific song picked out that they want to hear when they walk up to the plate. Nationals rookie phenom Bryce Harper likes to hear “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood.

It seems fitting for the 19-year-old who plays the game as hard as anyone. And when Harper has a chance to meet Thorogood before a game on Wednesday, he backed up his talk with his appearance. Harper showed up to a meeting with the singer wearing a “Suns out, guns out” t-shirt and red headband.

Who’s tougher: a rock star or a MLB All-Star? Back in Thorogood’s glory days it would be a close call, but Harper is carrying the torch for him now.

“Suns out, guns out” not the first time Harper has been at the forefront of a phrase craze, either. What’s the other time? That’s a… well, you probably already know.

Check out Harper’s unique look below.
