Gary Dilmore grew up in the heart of Red Sox Nation. His sons weren’t so lucky.
Currently living in Tampa, the two boys, Brenden and David, had been raised Sox fans, but without the chance to ever see their favorite team play at home. Instead of the sights and sounds of Fenway Park, they were stuck with Tropicana Field.
That changed this summer, when Gary, his wife Colleen and their sons planned a trip to finally see the Red Sox play at home, and everything that goes along with the experience.
NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette met up with the Dilmores as they celebrated Fenway Park’s 100th season their own way in the second of NESN.com’s “Fenway First-Timers” video series.
