Danny O'Connor is a true Bostonian. Really, the name should say it all.
Not only is O'Connor from Framingham and a personal friend of Dropkick Murphys bassist and lead vocalist Ken Casey, but he will also be taking his 17-1 career record to Gillette Stadium to participate in the first-ever boxing match at the venue. It will be happening after the New England Revolution match on Sunday evening, and it's sure to be an explosive night.
In a one-on-one interview, O'Connor took the time to talk to NESN Daily's Jamison Coyle, discussing a range of subjects from his Boston-area roots to his efforts to expand the sport of boxing in general and in the New England area.
