James Loney Hitting Cleanup as Red Sox Look to Take Series Finale in Los AngelesThe Red Sox had yet another rough go of it in Wednesday's 10-3 loss to the Angels, but they're hoping that Jon Lester (8-10, 4.98) can help turn the tide with his trip to the hill on Thursday night.

James Loney, taking part in just his fourth game in a Red Sox uniform, will be getting the start at first base and batting cleanup in the Boston order. Cody Ross should provide some protection for Loney, as the power-hitting right fielder gets back on the field and is slated to bat fifth.

Both Boston catchers will be in the lineup as well with Jarrod Saltalamacchia filling the DH role and rookie Ryan Lavarnway getting the start behind the plate.

The Boston bats will have their plates full on Thursday, though, as they square off against a former AL Cy Young award winner in Zack Greinke (2-2, 5.22).
