James Loney Is Solid First Baseman But ‘Jury Still Out’ on Future With Red Sox (Video)

James Loney hasn’t even been in a Red Sox uniform for a week, and already his future with the club is being put into perspective.

The former Dodgers first baseman was at one time a high-level prospect. Since coming to the big leagues, though, he’s turned into a decent offensive player with the gold glove skills at first base.

NESN’s Tom Caron chatted about Loney’s potential and fit with the Sox with Jerry Remy during Red Sox First Pitch.
