Johnny Pesky's Memory Still Very Much Alive at Fenway Park Beyond Tuesday's Ceremony

Johnny Pesky is the embodiement of the idea “gone, but not forgotten.”

The longtime Red Sox shortstop and team icon will be remembered by the team in a variety of ways on Tuesday night, from the entire team wearing No. 6 on the field to Pesky’s number mowed into the grass behind shortstop.

Of course, that doesn’t even begin to measure Pesky’s impact on the team and the ways that he will be remembered by fans for years to come.
