OK, so Kevin Youkilis isn’t exactly that new when it comes to being a member of the White Sox. But if Chicago fans had any doubt about the passion with which Youk plays the game, it likely subsided on Tuesday night.
Youkilis was tracking down a popup off the bat of David Cooper in the second inning at Rogers Centre when he ran out of real estate. It didn’t make a difference to Youkilis, though, as the third baseman reached over the railing to make the grab while falling into the stands.
We can probably just chalk this play up to Youk being Youk. Check it out below.
