Internet memes have eaten lesser athletes whole. But not McKayla Maroney.
Maroney's face has been all over the Internet ever since she first gave off a downcast, petulant look on the medal stand after she missed gold in a gymnastics event she was favored to win. She's been mocked in scenes from all over history and sports, with the phrase "McKayla is not impressed" accompanying her unhappy face.
But Maroney showed she can take a joke Saturday, tweeting a photo of herself with the familiar #notimpressed hashtag when she and fellow gymnasts Kyla Ross and Aly Raisman apparently couldn't get into the Olympic Village pool. Check out the tweet and photo below.
