Aqib Talib’s Hard Work, Commitment Should Make Second Season With Patriots Even Better
The decision for Carl Crawford to end his season has left Bobby Valentine to juggle his lineup.
The initial decision we saw Tuesday night was to bat Jacoby Ellsbury third and move Dustin Pedroia back to his customary No. 2 hole. That meant that it was Pedro Ciriaco who slid into the leadoff spot.
On Wednesday night, it will be Scott Podsednik leading off for Boston in the second of two games with the Los Angeles Angels, who will send Cy Young hopeful Jered Weaver to the mound.
Podsednik, who is a career .282 leadoff hitter, is 1-for-10 in his career against the Angels ace.
Here are the lineups for both clubs.
