Tom Brady is used to being the one throwing touchdowns, but on Wednesday he tried his hand at catching a few.
Before Wednesday's final preseason game in New York, Brady and some teammates decided it was time to let loose and have a little fun. Along with teammates Rob Gronkowski and Deion Branch, Brady worked on his skills on the outside and tried to haul in a few passes.
Brady spent some time catching passes against a defending duo of Gronkowski and Branch during pregame warmups. The rest of the team had already headed back to the locker room in preparation of the game, which is a solid indication that none of the three will be making an appearance on the gridiron in the meaningless preseason finale.
While he's definitely got the height to be a wideout, Brady's skills didn't appear to live up the task. He might be better suited sticking to his natural place under center, though.
