Carrie Underwood 'A Little Happy' That NHL Lockout Will Allow Her to Spend More Time With Husband Mike FisherCarrie Underwood
might have the hearts of country music fans sewn up, but she could have a tough time saying the same thing of hockey supporters.

Underwood, who is married to Nashville Predators center Mike Fisher, is actually looking forward to the NHL lockout because it will allow her a little more time with her hubby.

"Is it wrong for me to be a little happy [about the lockout]?" the former American Idol winner told The Tennessean. "I mean, 'I'm sorry for you, but it's great for me.'"

The topic came up in an interview with Underwood during her Blown Away Tour, when Fisher surprised her on the road with an improptu visit. Predators fans shouldn't worry, though. Fisher is going to stay focused on training and not touring, according to his wife.

"He's such a disciplined guy that he has to train and make sure he's
ready regardless of what's going on," Underwood explained. "He's got so much to do
on his end, and I certainly don't want to be the cause of him not being
able to give it his all."

This isn't the first time that Mrs. Fisher has run afoul of NHL fans, however. Underwood's music was previously banned from an Ottawa radio station because Senators fans blamed her for the trade that sent Fisher to Nashville.

Underwood performed at the Bridgestone Arena, where the Predators play their home games, on Sunday night.
