Avery Bradley won't be ready to play until December at the earliest, but the Celtics may have one of — if not the — best core of guards once he does.
The Celtics plan to have Rajon Rondo and Courtney Lee as the 1-2 combo going into the season until Bradley is healthy enough to take the court. Rondo averaged a double-double last year with 11.9 points and 11.7 assists per game, while Lee averaged 11.4 points per game for the Rockets.
Bradley is recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered last season that caused him to miss playoff time.
