It's been, well, an interesting past few weeks for the man formerly known as Ochocinco.
Back on August 11, former Patriots wide receiver Chad Johnson was arrested for domestic abuse and accused of headbutting his then-wife Evelyn Lozada. Johnson was relased from prison the next day, but he was then released from his contract with the Miami Dolphins, and hasn't since been heard from in the NFL. After catching just 15 passes for a single touchdown in 2011, many speculated that his professional career could be over.
Johnson's divorce was finalzed on Sept. 19, and two days after that, the six-time Pro Bowler avoided jail time in the criminal trial by accepting a plea deal. Apparently though, that didn't get him down.
The day after his trial was settled, Johnson went out and spent a pretty penny on a "new toy," a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. According to Yahoo! Autos, the MSRP of the vehicle sits at $376,000, so hopefully for him, Johnson took care of his money during his playing days.
Johnson then immediately posted pictures of the car to his Instagram account (@ochocinco), plugging the dealer he bought it from with the message "Just grab the new Lamborghini Aventador from Alex Vega @theautofirm." Following that up with "Loving my new toy…"
Check out Johnson's new ride in the pictures below.
