Drake Britton Takes Big Strides Toward Becoming Boston’s Next Left-Handed Starting Pitcher (Video)

Drake Britton could be in the Red Sox' starting rotation before you know it.

Britton started his 2012 campaign in Single-A Salem and pitched to a 3-5 record and 5.80 ERA. That was good enough to get him a promotion to Double-A Portland, where he pitched much better. In 16 starts with the Sea Dogs, he went 4-7 with a 3.72 ERA.

Britton attributes much of his recent success to his coaches. He has a new mentality on the mound that has helped him become a better pitcher.

Check out the video above to hear Britton talk about the changes he's made to his game on The Ultimate Red Sox Show.
