Greg Schiano's Buccaneers Blitz Tony Romo As Cowboys Line Up in Victory Formation (Video)The Buccaneers are hardly a consistent team, but Greg Schiano is at least consistent in his coaching philosophies.

Schiano again dialed up a blitz as the opposing team’s offense lined up in victory formation. It was Tony Romo and the Cowboys who had to stave off Tampa Bay’s late-game bull rush this week.

Schiano, of course, took a lot of heat following the Bucs’ Week 2 loss for having his team blitz Eli Manning in an effort to jar the ball loose despite the Giants lining up to take a knee in the game’s closing seconds. The Week 2 play caused Tom Coughlin to have a few words with Schiano, and it clearly upset the Giants’ locker room.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett didn’t seem as concerned on Sunday, though, likely because it was somewhat expected this time around. Don’t expect Schiano to switch things up any time soon either, although the Tampa coach would prefer if the opportunity didn’t present itself again.

“We need to stop being known for the kneel-down play,” Schiano told reporters after the game. “We need to start being known for winning games.”

Tampa Bay’s next chance to avoid more kneel-down drama will be against Robert Griffin III and the Redskins.
