Don Draper isn’t much of a baseball fan, but his alter ego Jon Hamm enjoys to take in a game every now and again.
Hamm, who stars as Draper in AMC’s hit series Mad Men, was at Fenway Park on Thursday night to catch the finale of the Red Sox’ three-game set with the Yankees. Sporting a St. Louis Cardinals hat and sitting just next to the Boston dugout, Hamm was taking in the game alongside fellow actor and Seinfeld creator Larry David.
David, who co-created the successful series alongside Jerry Seinfeld, is also the star of his own Curb Your Enthusiasm sitcom on HBO.
The two were seated alongside some friends and right behind the Red Sox on-deck circle. Their reasoning for being in Boston is unknown, except that they both like baseball.
Who knows? Maybe David’s making in appearance in next season’s Mad Men premiere, which is for some reason filming in Boston? Or more likely, Hamm will be pleasuring us with his presence on an inane episode of Curb. Either way, it’ll be fun to see what they’ve got cooking.
