Pedro Ciriaco in center field? Jose Iglesias getting more at-bats in the nine hole? It looks like the Red Sox are looking forward to 2013 now more than ever.
Bobby Valentine played with the lineup for Thursday’s matchup with the Rays, moving Ciriaco from the infield to where Jacoby Ellsbury normally patrols the outfield. And the struggling Iglesias continues to find a spot in the lineup, although he’s hitting well under the Mendoza line in limited time.
