Red Sox Will Honor 2004 World Series Squad, All-Fenway Team Tuesday and Wednesday at Fenway ParkThe 2012 season may not have gone as we had all hoped, but that doesn’t mean we can’t honor great Red Sox teams of the past.

Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Rays, the Red Sox will hold a ceremony at Fenway Park to honor the 2004 World Series champions at 6:30 p.m. The game will begin at it’s regularly scheduled 7:10 p.m. start time, but make sure to get there early to take in the pre-game tribute. All players and coaches from the historical squad have been invited to the ceremony.

The festivities don’t end there. On Wednesday the Red Sox will honor the All-Fenway team, as determined by fans, historians, Red Sox staff and team history consultants. You’ll be certain to see many familiar faces at the tribute, which also starts at 6:30 p.m.

Due to the ceremonies, which will also be aired on NESN, pre-game coverage will be pushed up on both Tuesday and Wednesday with Red Sox First Pitch airing at 5:30 p.m. and Red Sox Gameday Live airing at 6:00 p.m.
