Rasheed Wallace
didn't look like he had much left in the tank in his last NBA season. Yet, three seasons later, his name continues to surface.

Wallace worked out at the Knicks' practice facility with Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas Sunday, and New York is considering the 38-year-old big man, according to ESPN's Ric Bucher.

The New York Post confirmed the report, while also reporting that the Knicks are no longer considering veteran Tracy McGrady.

Wallace, who last played for the Celtics in 2009-10, is a four-time All-Star. He averaged 14.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game over the course of his NBA career, which included stops in Washington, Portland, Atlanta and Detroit in addition to Boston.

Wallace would likely serve as a defensive specialist if he made a return to the NBA, but given the results of his last season, expectations shouldn't be too high.
