The Red Sox find themselves in an unusual position this September, with their playoff hopes all but officially impossible. However, that doesn't mean they won't be getting plenty of attention around the league while they wind their season down.

In fact, the Red Sox will have plenty of anxious eyes upon them because of their schedule down the stretch. With chances against the Yankees, Rays and Orioles — who are in the postseason hunt — Boston will play a big role in who makes the playoffs after all.
