We were all waiting for a call from the replacement officials that would cause the referee lockout to end. This may be it.
The Seahawks were trailing 12-7 on Monday Night Football with eight seconds remaining on the Packers' 24-yard-line when Russell Wilson heaved back and threw a Hail Mary right into Packers safety M.D. Jennings arms. Or did he?
According to the officials, Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate managed to rip the ball out of Jennings hands on the way to the ground, but it sure didn't look that way. When both players landed, the two nearest officials gave two different calls, one touchdown, one waiving the play off. The touchdown call stood.
The play was automatically reviewed, since it was within the last two minutes, and it still wasn't reversed. After a long delay before the Seahawks were able to kick an extra-point, Seattle won 14-12. The final play was one of many highlights in the game, including Seattle's defense sacking Aaron Rodgers eight times in the first half.
