Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka Have to Wait Until Sunday After U.S. Open Final Delayed by Rain

NEW YORK — The U.S. Open women's singles final has been postponed until Sunday because of rain in the forecast.

The match between Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka was originally scheduled for Saturday night, when the National Weather Service is predicting an 80 percent chance of rain. Tournament officials will announce Sunday's match time by 7 p.m. Saturday.

The men's semifinals started more than an hour late Saturday afternoon due to rain.
