Shaun White Arrested, Charged With Public Intoxication and Vandalism, Features Black Eye in Mugshot

The Flying Tomato hit the ground on Sunday night — literally.

Shaun White, a two-time Olympic gold-medalist, was arrested at a Nashville hospital and charged with public intoxication and vandalism, according to a TMZ report.

Following an evening of partying in the Music City, White returned to his hotel room and kept up the fun. He reportedly trashed the room, and upon confrontation by hotel staff, fled the scene — after pulling multiple fire alarms on the way.

Once leaving the hotel, White continued to flee, before running into a civilian trying to stop the skateboarding/snowboarding icon. The two allegedly collided, sending White's head into a fence, resulting in the injury.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and then arrested by Nashville PD.

The Associated Press reports that White was released by police late Monday afternoon on his own recognizance and has a court date was set for Oct. 10.

No word yet on what White's reported girlfriend, supermodel Bar Refaeli, thinks about all of this.
