T.J. Lang Says Packers Considered Strike, Intentional Kneel-Downs During Anger-Filled Reaction to Blown CallThe football world found out soon after Monday night's controversial ending to the Packers-Seahawks game that Green Bay guard T.J. Lang was pretty upset.

It turns out the rest of his Packers teammates were enraged, too.

Lang, who filled Twitter with an expletive-laden rant after the Packers lost to the Seahawks on a controversial last-second call, said the Packers spent their flight home Monday night discussing ways to show the NFL how upset they were about the result.

Players discussed going on strike or taking a knee on every play in upcoming games if the replacement referees are not removed, Lang said on 97.1 the Ticket in Detroit, according to CBSLocal.com.

"Whatever it takes," Lang said. "It's just a total embarrassment to everybody watching the game, the players in the game. It's not fun to be part of something like that. … If it keeps going on, it's going to get ugly."

The players were already upset on the field during the general confusion after the final play, when the refs had mixed judgments about the call then spent time reviewing it. But once the players got back to the locker room and saw the replays, the anger really started to boil over, Lang said.

About 20 players were throwing things at the TV, Lang confirmed.

"I've never been part of anything like that," he said. "It's hard to blame officials for that loss. You never want to use that excuse … but after we saw the replay and all the reaction from the newscasters on ESPN…. We got robbed."

Lang said he doesn't regret his initial reaction, and he hopes more people will speak out.
